The "We are data" was interesting but alarming. Technology saves everything we do on our devices and saves all of that data no matter how old the device is. It scares me how all our data on our phones is stored forever. Sometimes we forget how we are constantly being seen and recorded through our devices, people who feel more comfortable behind the screens of their devices shouldn’t feel that way to a certain extent. We are constantly being supervised, and all of the information is stored in a piece of software that can be quickly retrieved. Yes, your phone makes it easier to communicate with others and can help you call 911 in an emergency but with just a simple web search it can also reveal very personal information. Information like your IP address, apps, phone operating system, location, and more. Your device also notices what you search online and hears what you speak about which explains algorithms in social media applications...
